China will establish military zones for industrial defense

China plans to establish military zones to protect its scientific, technical and defense industry, said Ma Yifei, an officer of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

Certain key facilities become closed military zones to the public or restricted areas, said Ma Yifei.

Installations scientific, technical and industrial defense are closely related to the national security and defense of the country, which requires good security, privacy, a no-fly zone and good electromagnetic environment, said Mr. Ma

However, according to current laws and regulations, these facilities are outside the scope of protection of military installations, and many of them are faced with a complex environment, Mr. Ma said, adding that this had led to leakage information and limited the effectiveness of these facilities.
